R-E-S-P-E-C-T
Treat all members equally, regardless of whether they are staff, better or worse at role-playing, older or younger or anything different to you. We’re all the same species, after all.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T means-
R-eserve your thoughts. If you think something about someone, their art, their role-playing etc. and you know it'll hurt their feelings, don't say it![/i][/size][/blockquote]
E-veryone is equal, you are not better than someone because you write 100 more words than them. It doesn't matter, we're all humans.
S-peak to everyone, don't reserve your time only to those you role-play with. Everyone is here to make friends. And certainly don't ignore anyone.
P-ractice what you preach, if you say something about someone's role-playing, behavior, art etc, make sure you follow your own rules, or you might offend them.
E-at your own words. If you do manage to get in an argument with someone, don't let it boil away inside of you. Just apologize, they're only words on a screen, but someone somewhere is very hurt by what you've said so say sorry.
C-ourtesy is a virtue, don't be rude! That includes using bad language. You can swear all you like IC(in character) but never ever swear directly at someone OOC(out of character).
T-reat staff members with respect, and listen to what they have to say. The staff are there to make sure that you and everyone else is having a safe, fun time, and if they say you're breaking a rule, just stop what it was you were doing and don't argue. It'll make our time here better for everyone.

General Rules
- Remember the 6 points of respect at all times.[/size]
- One account per character. You can have as many characters as you can cope with, but we suggest you keep it down to about 4 or 5. So, only one account per character, okay? It makes things easier to keep track of.
- Only advertise in the advertisement board (oh really? I never knew). We don’t want the boards spammed with adverts.
- Please keep chat speak down to a minimum. Things like ‘lol’, ‘omg’, ‘wtf’, ‘rotfl’ are fine, but no l33t please. No one can understand it.
- Signature images can be no bigger than 500x400, and one per signature. Any bigger and they will be removed.
- This site might have some more mature themes and ideologically sensitive material. For the most part, that is sex and strong language. If you can’t handle this maturely, we will ask you to leave.
- Swearing is okay, but please use it in moderation. No swearing directly at another member with the intention of upsetting them, because that’s not very respectful.
Posting Rules
- Proper grammar please. If you can’t write in full sentences, capitalize where appropriate and use proper punctuation you will be politely asked to go learn how to write.[/size]
- The maximum number of words a post can be is 550, and the minimum of words is 300. We have a maximum because we don’t want people having “OH LOOK HOW LONG I CAN MAKE MY POST” wars; it takes all the purpose and fun out of the roleplay.
- Please try to at least log on and say hi to us so we know you’re still alive every so often and post at least once a week. If you are going to be away for a long time, please tell us in the absences thread. If you fail to do this your account will be deleted. We need active members here; it looks bad if there are lots of inactive members.
Site Content Rules
- References to /Role-playing out sex, violence, gore, self harm ect are fine. If you are going to have a problem with dealing with this/being mature about it, we will have to ask you to leave. We’re all here to RP and enjoy ourselves, but people being petty about the site’s content is going to cause problems.[/size]
- Your characters can get pregnant. Pregnancy lasts 9 weeks, and babies age 1 year a week until they are ten. When the child reaches 10 years, you must make a separate account for them.
- Rules word is ‘cassowary’.
- Same sex relationships are fine. But homophobia, and any other kind of discrimination (racisim, sexism, religious discrimination, ect.) is a big no. Sure, your character can be as homophobic/racist/ect as they want, but any discriminating out of character comments of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Power play and God moding are not tolerated here. Power play is when you control other people’s characters as well as your own (including deciding how badly an attack affects the other person’s character). God moding is when your character is invincible and all powerful. Anyone found doing this will be banned for a week. Repeat offence will have you banned permanently.
- If your application is declined more than 3 times, it will be rejected. Please don’t let us have to do that and write your bio with a lot of creativity and consideration. Applications without the correct rules word will be immediately rejected.
